One of the coast guards listed (William Bowden Kendall)is my great, great grandfather. i am trying to find out more about him and his wife Elizabeth Pepperell. They were both (unmarried) at Atherfield in the 1841 census. I'm looking for any information on either of them. They supposedly married on the Isle of Wight in June 1841...I don't have the record. I'd really like to know who their parents and siblings were. William received several Royal National Life-Boat institution medals. The family moved to East Lothian. I couldn't find his wife, Elizabeth Warder-pilcher either. She died Sept 19872 in Yarmouth. I did find his brother James, his wife Annie and their Grandson Harry in St James Cemetery.
